Weyerhaeuser names brian chaney to lead wood products
Weyerhaeuser Co. has appointed Brian Chaney as senior vice president of Wood Products. Chaney recently served as vice president of Engineered Wood Products and Innovation for the company, and will take over for Keith O’Rear, who retired June 3 and will serve as a strategic advisor to the company through the end of 2024.
“This is an incredible honor to lead our Wood Products organization,” Chaney says. “We are entering a period of tremendous opportunity for our company, particularly in terms of emerging technologies and innovations in our space. I’m excited to leverage the ideas and experience of everyone in our organization to help our teams operate more safely and effectively, continue providing exceptional service to our customers and further build on our competitive position at Weyerhaeuser.”
